Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will perform in-person tax return preparation, provide tax advice, and support customers with software and product questions.

This role combines tax expertise with community engagement to expand TurboTax’s local presence. You will be a trusted advisor, helping clients optimize refunds, minimize liabilities, and plan for the future.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with tax preparation experience.
• Must have or be able to obtain PTIN to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season with professional software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230 and professional tax practice rules.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax location, 20+ hours/week, including weekends.
• Interest in building local and online TurboTax presence and client base.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive community ambassador, representing TurboTax locally.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for customers.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience and help clients reach financial goals.
• Engage with customers onsite and via TurboTax tools; address inquiries and tax challenges.
