Job summary

You will lead daily operations, mentor staff, strengthen client relationships, and help shape the firm's future. The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of tax preparation in a public firm, expert knowledge of individual, partnership, S corporation, C corporation, fiduciary, and nonprofit returns, plus proven leadership and business

Qualifications

• Active CPA or Enrolled Agent designation required.
• Minimum 6 years of professional tax preparation experience in a public accounting firm.
• Significant experience preparing farm income tax returns a plus.
• Strong knowledge of returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, fiduciaries and nonprofits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the office and staff.
• Supervise, mentor, and support professional and administrative staff.
• Foster a client-focused workplace culture and monitor workflow.
• Prepare complex federal and state tax returns for various entities.
• Review returns for accuracy, conduct tax research, stay current on law changes.
• Meet with clients to discuss tax matters and financial planning opportunities.
• Lead recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and staff development.
• Support ownership with strategic planning and growth initiatives.
