Job summary

Harrison Gray Search has partnered with a nationally recognized RIA to identify a National Tax Leader who will run the tax practice inside the Accounting & Business Advisory business. The role requires leading four regional directors, managing the practice P&L, and maintaining senior client relationships across the country.

The position offers a base salary of $200,000 to $300,000 with incentive compensation, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Twelve+ years in tax or professional services with senior leadership accountability.
• Proven track record leading multi-office tax or professional services practices.
• Current CPA or EA designation or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead national tax practice across four regions with P&L responsibility.
• Set tax service methodology, pricing standards, and quality framework.
• Directly manage Regional Directors and senior tax leaders to ensure performance.
• Oversee capacity planning, staffing, and succession planning for the national tax practice.
• Maintain a focused book of senior, high-value client relationships.
