This 100% remote, part‑time Tax Preparer role pays $30–$31 per hour on a W2 basis. The position requires an active PTIN and the ability to obtain any necessary state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sensitive customer, confidential, and proprietary business information in a responsible, reliable, and safe manner.
• Use government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to deliver accurate answers to customers in clear, everyday language.
• Operate state‑of‑the‑art video communication software to interact with customers, ensuring professional conduct, and document interactions to maintain accurate records.
• Interact with customers and team members professionally.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns using commercial tax preparation software.
• Passionate about helping clients navigate the complexities of taxation and committed to enhancing the brand by delighting customers.
• Excellent customer service skills and enthusiasm for interacting with customers through video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, and confident manner.
• Must possess or be able to obtain an active PTIN and any related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Must have an internet connection that meets security criteria.
