Upto $36/hr on W2

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure: [$35/Hr - $36/Hr]. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Help our customers complete their taxes using company products: provide tax advice, full service return preparation, tax calculations, and manage product/software inquiries to advance our goal of "Powering Prosperity Around the World."
• Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to seek out and deliver the right answer to the customer using everyday language.
• Work in a virtual, customer‑facing role using state‑of‑the‑art video communication software to interact with customers, and document interactions to maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns, using commercial tax preparation software.
• An active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws and an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
• Passion for helping clients navigate the complexities of taxation, and a commitment to enhancing our brand by delighting our customers and empowering them to prepare their taxes.
• Excellent customer service skills, and excitement to interact with customers through video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, and confident manner.
• Must have (or be willing to obtain) an Internet connection that meets security criteria.
• Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days.
