Job summary

Jackson Hewitt franchise in central Florida seeks a driven Tax Preparation Support Manager to lead tax professionals and ensure accurate, efficient, and friendly tax preparation services during peak season.

You will train, mentor, and develop staff; manage daily operations; review completed returns for IRS compliance; and resolve client inquiries with a focus on quality, productivity, and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in tax preparation, accounting, or a related financial field.
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax codes and IRS regulations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support tax preparation staff to ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality service.
• Train, mentor, and develop tax preparers on current tax laws, procedures, and best practices.
• Manage daily office operations and ensure smooth workflow during peak tax season.
• Review completed tax returns for accuracy and IRS compliance.
• Resolve client inquiries, concerns, and escalated tax-related issues professionally.
• Monitor team performance and provide coaching and feedback to drive productivity.
• Ensure adherence to Jackson Hewitt's policies, procedures, and quality standards.
