Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an entry-level tax associate in a franchise office to assist during the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program. The role includes assembling returns, obtaining signatures, and reviewing the completed product with the client in Warrenton, NC.

You will help ensure all clients receive superior service and perform additional duties as assigned, with state/local requirements possibly applying.

Qualifications

• Reading and math skills to begin and finish the tax interview.
• Clear communication in person and over the phone.
• Familiarity with Windows-based computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
