Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Tax Interview Assistant to support clients during the tax preparation process.

You will enter client and W-2 information, assemble returns, obtain signatures, review the completed product with the client, and ensure excellent service while following franchise procedures.

Additional duties as assigned; state and local requirements may vary by location and franchise office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Enter client and W-2 information into the tax program to start the interview.
• Assemble the tax return, obtain required signatures, and review the finished product with the client.
• Complete bookkeeping procedures and ensure accurate filings.
• Provide superior service to all H&R Block clients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
