Job summary

H&R Block franchise is seeking an entry-level Tax Associate to assist with the tax interview process. You will enter client and W-2 information into the tax software and help assemble the tax return, ensuring all signatures are obtained and the final product is reviewed with the client.

You will also complete bookkeeping procedures and strive to deliver superior service to every client. The role requires good reading and math skills, clear communication, and experience with Windows-based

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills to complete tax interview.
• Effective in-person and phone communication.
• Experience with Windows-based programs.
• Additional state/local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service
• All other duties as assigned
