Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. in Hamburg, PA seeks a part-time Tax Interview Assistant to help begin and close client interviews, entering W-2 data into the tax program and assembling returns.

You will review the completed tax return with clients, perform basic bookkeeping tasks, and ensure superb service for all clients. A high school diploma and basic math/reading skills are required; experience with Windows programs is a plus. On-site training provided.

Qualifications

• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
