Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. in Pennsylvania invites you to join our franchise office as a tax interview assistant. You will enter client and W-2 information into the tax program at the start of interviews and help assemble returns at the end, ensuring accuracy and client signatures.

Effective communication, basic math and reading skills help you succeed. Prior experience with Windows-based programs is preferred; additional state/local requirements may apply. Superior client service is expected.

Qualifications

• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
