Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an entry-level teammate to support clients during the busy tax season. You will help start the interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax software and ensuring accurate data capture.

You will close interviews by assembling returns, obtaining signatures, reviewing the product with clients, and completing bookkeeping procedures, while delivering superior service to all clients in a franchised office setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Reading and math skills are necessary to begin and finish the tax interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Experience with Windows-based computer programs is beneficial.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
