Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an entry-level teammate to help start and finish tax interviews. You will enter client and W-2 data, assemble tax returns, obtain signatures, review results with clients, and complete bookkeeping steps.

The role emphasizes delivering superior service to all clients and performing any additional duties as assigned. This position supports a busy tax season with opportunities for growth and hands-on experience in tax preparation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service
• All other duties as assigned
