Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an entry-level team member to assist at the start of tax interviews by entering client and W-2 information, and to help close interviews by assembling returns and obtaining signatures.

You will review the completed tax product with clients and perform bookkeeping procedures while ensuring every client receives superior service. Additional duties as assigned may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Familiarity with Windows-based computer programs.
• State and local requirements may apply.
• Additional coursework in math, accounting, or finance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service
• All other duties as assigned
