Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a teammate to assist with the tax interview process at our Mount Morris Township location. You’ll enter client and W-2 information, assemble the return, obtain signatures, review the product with clients, and complete bookkeeping steps.

You will help deliver superior service to all clients and support a smooth tax season with strong reading, math, and communication skills, plus comfort with Windows-based programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service
• All other duties as assigned
