Job summary

H&R Block Lexington is seeking a detail-oriented teammate to assist during the tax interview process. You’ll enter client and W-2 information, help assemble tax returns, obtain signatures, and review the finished product with clients to ensure accuracy and satisfaction.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, basic math and reading skills, and the ability to use Windows-based software. Training is provided, and additional state/local requirements may apply to support a compliant tax

Qualifications

• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs
• Additional state and local requirements may apply

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service
• All other duties as assigned
