Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. in Kentucky seeks an associate to assist in the tax interview process and ensure client satisfaction. You will enter client and W-2 information, help assemble returns, and review the final product with clients, while completing bookkeeping tasks.

Strong reading and math skills, clear communication, and familiarity with Windows-based software are required. Additional state/local requirements may apply; prior tax or office experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Enter client and W-2 information into the tax program at the start of the interview.
• Assist with assembling the tax return and obtaining required signatures at the end of the interview.
• Review the finished product with the client and complete bookkeeping procedures.
• Deliver superior service to all H&R Block clients.
• Other duties as assigned.
