Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a team-oriented associate to support early tax interviews and prepare returns in a fast-paced environment.

You will input client and W-2 information into the tax program, verify data accuracy, and help assemble the tax filing package with care and compliance. You’ll review the completed return with clients, obtain signatures, and finalize bookkeeping procedures, all while delivering superior service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
