Job summary

H&R Block in Brookhaven, MS is seeking an entry-level team member to support client interviews for tax preparation. You will input client and W-2 data, assist in assembling tax returns, and ensure high-quality service during the process.

The role requires basic math and reading skills, strong communication, and familiarity with Windows programs. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Experience with Windows-based computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining signatures, reviewing the product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
