Job summary

EY is seeking a Tax Operations Leader within the EY EDGE practice to focus on US and global tax information reporting and withholding engagements across financial services sectors. The role involves leading a data-driven team delivering client reporting and compliance across tax operations.

You will partner with leadership to manage data preparation, reporting, and client interactions, while ensuring quality and budget alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, Law, or Economics required.
• CPA, EA, or licensed attorney preferred.
• Minimum 8+ years of operational delivery experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with tax accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the tax operations team and manage data preparation, aggregation, reporting, and filings for tax information reporting and transaction taxes.
• Oversee team performance, deadlines, and client expectations; drive delivery and manage engagement economics.
• Drive process improvements, standardization, and training across tax operations.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation of current processes.
• Communicate status and issues to leadership; manage escalation and risk.
