Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, Law, or Economics.
• A minimum of 8+ years of operational delivery experience.
• CPA, EA, or licensed attorney.
• Ability to prioritize, handle and track multiple assignments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong data analysis capabilities.
• Ability to draft/design business requirements, process flow diagrams and rules matrices.
• Change management, operations and process improvement experience.
• Ability to identify improvement opportunities and actively engage in implementing improvements.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and proven skills in developing employees.
• Strong oral and written communication as well as presentation skills.
• Excellent organization, process and people management skills.
• Excellent trouble shooting, execution and communication (written and verbal) skills.
• Proficient using Microsoft products such as Excel, Word, and Power Point, Proficiency in tax accounting systems.

Responsabilités

• Lead of tax operations team, directing data prep, aggregation, reporting, filings and other activities.
• Manage operations team, coordinate client interactions, review KPIs by work stream, ensure deadlines and client expectations.
• Oversee escalation, resolution and visibility to leadership.
• Ensure standardized processes and procedures for tax operations; coordinate training.
• Support client internal and external audits with documented processes.
• Produce KRIs/KPIs to evidence performance and drive efficiency.
• Own service quality and manage engagement risk and budget considerations.
• Understand business financials to ensure work stays on budget.
• Leverage standard technologies to drive efficiency and quality of deliverables.
• Act as counsellor and coach; develop tax professionals and handle performance management.
• Travel 20% or less.
