Job summary

The Florida Department of Revenue is seeking an Operations Analyst II to support the Return Reconciliation Process in the General Tax Administration Program. The incumbent partners with Tax Specialist II to deliver formal and informal training to Return Reconciliation personnel on current tax topics and conducts quality assurance reviews to resolve taxpayer account issues.

The role requires prior experience with returns research and corrections, as well as strong training and communication

Qualifications

• Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue.
• One year of experience researching, reviewing, and correcting returns and adjusting account balances within the Department of Revenue.
• Experience conducting formal or informal training.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Tax Specialist II to train Return Reconciliation personnel on current tax administration topics.
• Perform quality assurance reviews and resolve taxpayer account issues.
• Respond to inquiries related to returns and reconciliations.
• Contribute to training materials and process improvements.
