Job summary

The Florida Department of Revenue (Child Support Program) is seeking a Government Operations Consultant II for regional operations monitoring. The role requires independent decision-making, data analysis, and process improvement within the Central Operations Performance and Accountability Team based in Tallahassee.

Telework may be available after training, with duties spanning monitoring, guidance, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Two years of Child Support Program experience.
• Experience communicating and providing detailed information to diverse internal and/or external customers.
• Experience working with computers including Windows navigation, word processing, and creating spreadsheets.
• Experience identifying and resolving operational deficiencies to ensure compliance with procedures.
• Experience reviewing data, identifying trends and recommending process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Child Support Program office and other teams; compile and analyze data, determine effectiveness and next actions.
• Compile and analyze data; determine effectiveness and recommend next steps.
• Serve as liaison to internal and external partners; maintain open communication to solve problems.
• Work in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and state systems to research and resolve complex issues.
