Job summary

H&R Block in Wichita is looking for a dedicated recruiter to build strong tax office teams by recruiting, screening, and engaging candidates throughout the hiring and onboarding lifecycle. You will help ensure offices are staffed with qualified associates to support clients.

Responsibilities include recruiting Tax Associate candidates, coordinating interviews, supporting ongoing training, and organizing virtual or in-person open houses and career fairs to attract top talent.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting and talent acquisition.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Self-starter with the willingness to learn new skills and work independently.
• Ability to effectively communicate in person and virtually.
• Experience with computer systems and technology (i.e. Microsoft Office, Teams).
• High school diploma / GED/ equivalent or higher.

Responsibilities

• Recruit Tax Associate candidates and keep them engaged from application to start date.
• Coordinate and assist with interviews for tax office associates.
• Support tax office associates with continuing education and training requirements.
• Plan and prepare for virtual or in-person tax office open houses and career fairs.
