Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Recruitment Specialist to build strong tax office teams by recruiting, screening, and engaging candidates and students throughout the hiring and onboarding lifecycle.

You will recruit Tax Associate candidates, coordinate interviews, and support ongoing training and open houses/career fairs to ensure offices are staffed with qualified associates ready to support clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years in recruiting or talent acquisition.
• Strong organization and prioritization to handle multiple tasks.
• Self-starter with ability to learn new skills independently.
• Excellent communication skills in person and virtual settings.
• Proficient with computer systems and technology (MS Office, Teams).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit Tax Associate candidates and keep them engaged from application to start date.
• Coordinate and assist with interviews for tax office associates.
• Support tax office associates with continuing education and training requirements.
• Plan and prepare for virtual or in-person tax office open houses and career fairs.
