Job summary

TAKKION Ops Management LLC is seeking a Manager of Tax to lead U.S. tax provision, compliance, and planning for a fast-growing renewable energy platform backed by private equity.

You will partner with accounting, finance, legal, and development teams to drive tax-efficient outcomes in capital-intensive, project-based environments. The role involves leading tax audits, structuring and modeling tax considerations (ITC/PTC), and supporting project lifecycles from placed-in-service to financing,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or tax is required.
• CPA certification is required.
• Minimum 6 years of tax experience in public accounting or corporate tax.
• Big 4 experience preferred.
• Knowledge of ASC 740 and U.S. tax laws is essential.
• Experience in Renewable Energy or Private Equity is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual income tax provisions and disclosures under ASC 740.
• Oversee federal, state, and local tax compliance processes and external providers.
• Manage tax accounts, reconciliations, and provision-to-return adjustments.
• Analyze tax planning opportunities and strategize with cross-functional teams.
• Support tax equity structures and transactions including acquisitions and financing.
