Job summary

EisnerAmper seeks a Tax Manager to join Private Client Services (PCS). This role oversees complex tax planning and compliance for ultra-high-net-worth individuals, with a focus on hedge funds and related entities.

The candidate will lead a team, nurture client relationships, and drive business development in a dynamic, collaborative environment. The position offers hybrid work locations and opportunities to contribute across tax disciplines, with ongoing professional growth and DEI initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent required.
• 7+ years of progressive tax experience providing tax compliance and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals.
• 5+ years of tax compliance, specialization in complex technical individual and business.
• Recent Public Accounting experience.
• CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team, foster strong client relationships, and contribute to business development.
• Oversee tax planning and compliance for ultra-high-net-worth individuals, especially in financial services (hedge funds, private equity).
• Understand hedge fund K-1 treatment and trusts, estates, gifts, and charitable entities.
• Direct client engagement to deliver tax planning, consulting, and compliance solutions.
• Lead primary review of complex tax returns and maintain client communications.
• Mentor staff and review their work; occasionally travel to client locations.
• Solicit new client relationships and participate in seminars to expand networking.
