BDO USA, a leading national accounting and advisory firm, seeks a Tax Manager in Private Client Services to provide tax compliance and consulting to high-net-worth clients. You will leverage your education, experience, and leadership to manage engagements, mentor staff, and develop client relationships.

Responsibilities include engagement management, tax return review, advanced tax research, and collaboration with clients and advisors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; major in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Statistics preferred
• Master’s degree in Accountancy or Taxation preferred
• Five or more years of experience in accounting, finance, or law required
• CPA/EA/Attorney or equivalent designation required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tax software tools preferred

Responsabilités

• Manages tax and consulting engagements and identifies client needs and opportunities
• Gathers information with clients and advisors to prepare tax returns
• Reviews complex returns and provides feedback to staff
• Directs communication with government agencies on complex matters
• Conducts advanced tax research and develops recommendations for leadership
• Develops understanding of tax concepts through client engagements and developments
• Prioritizes tasks individually and in teams
• Supports billing, recruiting, and training activities
• Builds and maintains relationships with clients and professionals
