Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Tax Senior Manager, Private Client Services, to lead tax compliance and consulting for high net-worth clients. You will manage engagements, serve as the primary client contact, and coordinate with government agencies on complex matters.

Ideal candidate has 7+ years in accounting/finance or tax with supervisory experience and CPA/EA or equivalent. This role emphasizes leadership, client development, and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics; Masters in Accountancy or Taxation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages tax and consulting engagements and addresses client needs and opportunities.
• Acts as primary client contact for preparation and presentation of issues and resolutions.
• Reviews complex returns for individuals, trusts, estates, S-Corps, foundations, partnerships, and gifts.
• Directs communication with government agencies on highly complex matters.
• Performs advanced tax research and develops recommendations for PCS leadership and clients.
• Expands knowledge through client engagements and current tax developments.
• Prioritizes and reviews work to keep engagements on track.
• Assists with PCS/firm contributions including billing, recruiting, and training.
• Builds relationships with BDO professionals and external sources.
• Other duties as assigned.
