Job summary

Qualifications

• Five to seven years of public accounting experience with increasing tax complexity.
• Minimum one year supervising tax preparers and staff.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; master’s in taxation preferred; CPA license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee efficient, accurate, complete and timely preparation of all clients’ tax returns.
• Review and approve tax returns and governmental examinations of any complexity.
• Supervise and delegate work of tax preparers as deemed necessary.
• Participate in client meetings and tax planning with the Auditing and Accounting Department.
• Represent clients before appropriate taxing authorities when delegated by partners.
• Ensure smooth flow of tax returns through the tax preparation system and billing.
