Vector Recruiting LLC is seeking a Tax Senior Manager to join a well-established CPA firm. The role offers hybrid in-office and home-based work with potential large bonuses and a 401(k) with a 5% employer contribution.

The position provides a fast track to Partner and opportunities across multiple LA-area offices including Torrance, Woodland Hills, Oxnard, and LA. The candidate will oversee complex tax returns, serve as a technical expert, and mentor staff while ensuring timely delivery and

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of current tax laws.
• Proficiency with tax software and research tools.
• Experience with public accounting and supervising staff.
• CPA licensed and AICPA member in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical tax review and approval of tax returns and governmental examinations.
• Serves as a subject matter expert in discipline or industry.
• Leads larger tax returns and delegates to staff as needed.
• Manages client service responsibilities for assigned clients.
• Represents clients before taxing authorities when delegated by partners.
• Develops staff through recruiting, evaluations, and training.
• Ensures smooth flow of tax returns through preparation systems.
