Job summary

CLA is seeking a Tax Manager or Director to support our tax practice in California. You will consult with clients on business processes such as succession and tax planning, and lead tax engagements with the team.

Join CLA to develop and train staff, foster client opportunities, and stay at the forefront of tax matters in real estate. CPA is required, with experience in a large firm.

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA required (EA or JD may be accepted in lieu of CPA).
• Motivated to advance your career within CLA.
• Strong client relationship and issue-resolution skills.
• Real estate industry experience highly preferred.

• Perform a range of tax procedures in accordance with the size and complexity of the engagement.
• Review complex individual and corporate tax returns.

What You Will Need

• 6 years of experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm, driving strategic management.
• You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA required (EA or JD may be accepted in lieu of CPA certification)

The compensation range for this position in California is: $115,000 - $194,000.00
