CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) seeks a Tax Director or Manager in Colorado to advise clients on tax planning, lead engagements, and mentor a growing team. You'll collaborate with clients to align tax strategies with business goals and drive service quality across the practice.

This role emphasizes leadership, technical expertise, and a client-first approach within a leading national firm. Candidates should have CPA credentials, 6+ years of tax experience, and a commitment to developing career paths

Qualifications

• 6 years of tax experience in a public accounting or professional services firm.
• CPA required (EA or JD may be accepted in lieu of CPA).
• Strong client service mindset and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients on business processes such as succession and tax planning.
• Lead, schedule, supervise, and review tax engagements.
• Develop and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Foster opportunities for clients and communities and attend industry events.
• Perform tax procedures appropriate to engagement size and complexity.

CLA is currently seeking a Tax Director or Manager to join our Tax practice.

How you'll create opportunities in this Tax Director or Manager role:

• Consult with clients on business processes such as succession and tax planning.
• Lead, schedule, supervise, and review tax engagements.

• Become an industry professional and attend industry‑leading events and trainings.
• Perform a range of tax procedures in accordance with the size and complexity of the engagement.
• Review complex individual and corporate tax returns.

What you will need:

• 6 years of experience serving in a tax role with public accounting and/or professional services firm
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• CPA required (EA or JD may be accepted in lieu of CPA certification)

For Colorado, the posting range for this role is $107,000 - $175,000.
