Job summary

CLA is seeking a Tax Manager or Director in California to support our tax practice and lead client engagements with a focus on planning and strategy.

You’ll consult on business processes, supervise tax engagements, and mentor team members to foster career growth. The role requires a CPA and at least six years in tax, with experience in public accounting preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification required; EA or JD may be accepted in lieu of CPA where applicable.
• 6 years of relevant tax experience, preferably in public accounting or professional services.

What You Will Need

• You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience serving in a tax role with public accounting and/or professional services firm preferred.
• 6 years of relevant experience is required.
• CPA required (EA or JD may be accepted in lieu of CPA certification)

Wage range in California is $115,000 - $194,000.00 Annual
