Job summary

Elliott Davis in Nashville is seeking a Tax Manager to lead the Manufacturing & Distribution tax team, oversee preparation and technical review, and provide tax consulting for complex closely held businesses in the construction industry.

You will supervise the tax engagements, mentor staff, build client relationships, and drive compliance with state and federal regulations while exploring opportunities to expand services across the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Law; Master’s degree in Tax/LLM in Tax preferred.
• 5+ years of public accounting experience with construction and closely held businesses.
• EA License or CPA certification required.
• Project and team management skills; strong communication and networking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax preparation and technical review for complex closely held construction-related engagements.
• Advise, research, and resolve tax issues; identify compliant solutions.
• Delegate and manage tax assignments; supervise and develop the tax team.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure timely billing and engagement progress.
