Job summary

Elliott Davis is seeking a Tax Manager to lead the Manufacturing & Distribution tax team, oversee preparation and technical review for complex closely held construction businesses, and ensure compliance with state and federal tax regulations.

You will mentor staff, manage engagements, and advise on tax issues while collaborating across the firm to deliver solutions for clients and prospects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Law required.
• 5+ years in public accounting with construction/closely held businesses.
• CPA or EA license required; project and team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain excellent client relationships.
• Lead and review tax engagements for complex closely held entities.
• Advise on state and federal tax issues and document solutions.
• Manage billing, deadlines, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Develop and grow a strong tax team with coaching and reviews.
