Job summary

Kemper CPA Group LLP, a top 100 public accounting firm, is seeking a Tax Manager for our Paducah, Kentucky office. The role involves supervising tax engagements, coaching staff, and communicating with clients to ensure accurate, timely tax reporting.

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of tax management experience, CPA designation, and strong knowledge of current tax practices. Some overtime is expected during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• CPA designation with a minimum of 5 years’ tax supervisory experience.
• Ability to coordinate staff and client expectations by planning assignments and communicating outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of current professional tax practices.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills with staff and clients.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and/or review federal, state, local, and special tax returns.
• Prepare and/or review financial statements, reports, and records.
• Maintain professional standards and knowledge through trainings and networks.
• Promote client relationships and efficient engagement execution.
• Develop and coach staff within the tax practice.
• Manage assigned book of business within budgeted revenue and realization expectations.
• Additional duties as assigned.
