Novogradac & Company LLP is seeking a Tax Manager to lead engagements, supervise staff, and mentor junior accountants. You will manage assignments with minimal supervision, grow client relationships, and contribute to firm profitability. Some roles may be remote or hybrid; discuss options with recruiters.

Ideal candidates have a CPA license, a strong tax knowledge base, excellent communication, and ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• CPA license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements from planning through completion with minimal supervision.
• Oversee staffing, timing, and technical issue resolution during engagements.
• Conduct engagement reviews and mentor staff and seniors.
• Perform performance evaluations and manage staff development.
• Support Principals/Partners in pursuing new clients.
• Turn technical knowledge into high value opportunities for clients.
• Represent the firm on panels, publications, and recruiting events.
• Foster strong relationships with partners, employees, clients and prospects.
