Calqulate Metrics Ltd is seeking a Tax Manager to lead a portfolio of individual and business tax engagements in the Southeast. Flexible locations are available, with remote start options as you relocate.

You will manage client service, deadlines, and tax reviews while staying current on tax developments and best practices. The role offers growth toward partnership and various firm-wide opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• CPA or EA in progress preferred.
• 3+ years' public accounting experience reviewing both individual and business taxation.

Responsibilities

• Manage a group of clients and provide client services in the areas of individual and business taxation.
• Manage project deadlines and plan appropriately with associates and senior associates.
• Coordinate with the team members on all phases of the Tax engagement.
• Review mostly business (and some Individual) tax returns and provide timely and constructive feedback.
• Provide high-level client service.
• Keep current on tax law changes and accounting related developments and best practices.
• Work with team members for continual process improvement.
• Participate in practice development and various firm activities.
• Develop an area of tax specialization.
