Calqulate Metrics Ltd seeks a Tax Manager to support a growing client base across the Southeast. Flexible locations in NC, SC, GA, and surrounding areas are available, with remote options while relocating.

The firm emphasizes partnership growth, frequent promotions, and a one-firm approach across the Southeast. The role involves supervising tax engagements, reviewing returns, and delivering high-quality client service while staying current on tax law changes and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree required.
• CPA or EA in progress preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience in a public accounting role reviewing both individual and business taxation.

Responsibilities

• Manage a group of clients and provide client services in the areas of individual and business taxation.
• Manage project deadlines and plan appropriately with associates and senior associates.
• Coordinate with the team members on all phases of the Tax engagement.
• Review mostly business (and some individual) tax returns and provide timely and constructive feedback.
• Provide high-level client service.
• Keep current on tax law changes and accounting related developments and best practices.
• Work with team members for continual process improvement.
• Participate in practice development and various firm activities.
• Develop an area of tax specialization.
