Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Tax Manager for the Business Incentives Group (BIG) to help clients identify and document tax positions and support examinations and appeals. The BIG Manager will drive business development, process improvements, and team-building initiatives.

The role covers research, compliance, consulting, and strategy development across BIG tax benefits, while supervising senior associates and ensuring quality workpapers and client communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Masters degree and JD are preferred.
• CPA or EA certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and prepare memos supporting BIG tax positions.
• Ensure timely tax compliance and accurate workpapers and returns.
• Develop and implement tax strategies to maximize BIG benefits.
• Represent clients before tax authorities as needed.
• Apply ASC 740-10, FAS 109 and FIN 48 standards.
