BDO USA is seeking a Tax Manager for the Business Incentives Group (BIG) to help clients identify, document, and support tax positions. The role involves leading research, compliance, consulting, and controversy work across major U.S.

jurisdictions, with a focus on developing business development and team-building initiatives. Qualified candidates have 5+ years of experience in BIG tax consulting, supervision of professionals, and strong communication, analytical, and project-management skills.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Degree in accounting, tax, or finance is preferred.
• Masters degree is preferred.
• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) is preferred.

Mansioni

• Research: identify when research is needed and conduct investigations.
• Tax Compliance: ensure clients comply with authorities and minimize tax burden.
• Tax Consulting: develop and implement solutions for maximum tax benefits.
• Tax Controversy: represent clients before tax authorities and respond to inquiries.
• ASC 740-10: understand and apply FAS 109 and FIN48 standards.
• Strategy Development: develop new ideas and strategies to advance client positions.
• Other duties as required.
