Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Tax Manager in the Business Incentives Group (BIG) to identify, document, and support tax positions for clients. The role involves contributing to business development, process improvements, and building a strong team.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree and five+ years in tax; CPA or Enrolled Agent is preferred. Expect opportunities to lead engagements, ensure tax compliance, and deliver strategic BIG tax benefits across various client scenarios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Five (5) or more years of prior experience is required.
• CPA certification is preferred.
• Enrolled Agent is preferred.
• Experience supervising tax consulting professionals is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research tax implications and prepare memos.
• Ensure compliance with applicable authorities and minimize client tax burden.
• Develop and implement BIG tax strategies.
• Represent clients before tax authorities when needed.
• Manage and mentor BIG Senior Associates and Associates.

Education

Bachelor’s degree

Masters degree

Juris Doctorate (J.D.)
