Job summary

The Tax Manager, Business Incentives Group (BIG) at BDO USA, LLP leads research, compliance, and advisory work on big tax positions for clients. You will develop strategies, document positions, and support examinations and appeals while guiding colleagues on engagement teams.

Responsibilities include supervising associates, driving process improvements, and coordinating with tax and assurance professionals. A CPA or EA is preferred, with 5+ years of BIG tax consulting experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Five (5) or more years of prior experience required.
• CPA certification, Enrolled Agent preferred.
• Experience with BIG tax consulting preferred.
• Experience preparing/reviewing tax provisions preferred.
• Experience with corporate taxation, consolidations, and partnerships preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research tax implications and prepare analyses/memos.
• Ensure client compliance with authorities and minimize tax burden.
• Develop and implement BIG tax solutions and processes.
• Represent clients in tax controversy before authorities.
• Understand ASC 740-10 standards, FIN48, FAS109.
• Contribute to business development and team leadership.
