Michael Baker International is seeking a Tax Manager to join our Corporate Tax team. This role focuses on income tax compliance and reporting across multiple entities in nearly all 50 states, with ASC 740 expertise and leadership duties.

The candidate will partner across the organization to optimize tax positions, manage audits, and support strategic business decisions while mentoring the Income Tax Analyst as applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Master’s in Taxation or CPA preferred.
• 5–6 years tax experience in public accounting, industry, or both.
• Experience with ASC 740 tax accounting and reporting.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local corporate income tax compliance.
• Big Four experience a plus.
• Strong organization and project management skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage income tax compliance and reporting for a multi-entity environment.
• Oversee corporate income tax returns (federal, state, local).
• Prepare and manage ASC 740 quarterly and year-end provisions.
• Prepare quarterly cash tax estimates and tax workpapers.
• Lead tax audits and respond to notices; manage risk controls.
• Provide tax planning input to optimize the Company's position.
