Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Tax Manager for a hybrid role in Sarasota, FL. The ideal candidate has at least 7 years in public accounting, with proven experience in preparing and reviewing various tax returns and leading a team.

You will drive business development while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will collaborate across departments to improve processes, assist with financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, and stay current on tax laws.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in public accounting.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing individual, corporate, partnership, and S-Corp tax returns.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Proven business development ability to identify and secure opportunities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPA preferred; tax software proficiency.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
• Demonstrated experience in business development, with a proven ability to identify and secure new business opportunities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA designation is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in tax software and other relevant computer applications.
