Job summary

Ryan Legal Services, PLLC (RLS) is a Scottsdale-based Arizona alternative business structure law firm focusing on civil tax litigation. The Litigation Management Attorney handles case intake, client engagement, case assignment, and supervision of cases outside Arizona, with remote oversight only.

Requires Arizona bar admission, strong civil litigation experience, and familiarity with tax law practice. The role is hybrid in Scottsdale, about 2 days onsite and 3 days remote, with collaboration

Qualifications

• Four-year bachelor's degree.
• Juris doctorate from an accredited law school.
• At least five to ten years’ experience as a practicing civil litigation attorney.
• Active member of the State Bar of Arizona.
• No character or fitness violations from any state bar association or supreme court.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive team experience.
• Provide ongoing professional guidance and direction to team members within RLS.
• Develop forms, tools and methods of communication necessary to engage clients and communicate status to them.
• Participate in training with tax service delivery professionals.
• Work with Compliance Lawyer to draft, send, receive, record, and track specific prospective and client engagement agreements and client communications regarding status and billing.
• Oversee case supervision of tax-related civil litigation cases and supervise other attorneys and paralegals.
