The Minnehaha County Treasurer's Office seeks a Tax and License Assistant to help residents with motor vehicle and real estate transactions, handling titles, registrations, fees, and records. You will balance daily financials and provide friendly, accurate support in person, by phone, or in writing for motor vehicle issues.

A high school diploma or GED and at least one year of customer service and cash handling is required.

• Handle motor vehicle titles, registrations, transfers, renewals, fees, taxes, permits, and records.
• Review and process motor vehicle documents and financial materials, ensuring compliance.
• Offer customer service and technical support by phone, in person, and in writing for motor vehicle issues.
• Enter, verify, and update vehicle registrations, applications, and tax records; compile and validate data.
• Balance and reconcile daily financial transactions, correct discrepancies, and prepare cash bags.
