Job summary

HBK CPAs & Consultants welcomes driven accounting students to its internship program in Melville, NY. You will receive hands-on training in federal/state tax preparation, participate in a comprehensive 1040 Tax Training Program, and contribute meaningful work alongside seasoned professionals across the firm.

As a sophomore or junior pursuing an accounting major, you will develop technical skills in tax returns for individuals and corporations while strengthening communication and teamwork

Qualifications

• Must possess excellent computer, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on learning experiences across the tax preparation workflow.
• Attend the week-long 1040 Tax Training Program and contribute to timely, high-quality work products.
• Work closely with team members across the organization and perform responsibilities similar to a first-year associate.
• Gain hands-on experience in preparing tax returns (individual and corporate).
• Develop communication, analytical, and professional skills through hands-on experience.
