Job summary

HBK CPAs & Consultants is inviting accounting students to join our internship program in Florida. You will gain hands-on experience by participating in federal and state tax preparation, tax research, and a dedicated 1040 Tax Training Program.

You will work closely with our teams, contribute to real client work, and learn how a public accounting firm operates while developing communication and analytical skills. Full-time or part-time internships are available across offices.

Qualifications

• Sophomore or junior pursuing a major in accounting.
• Actively pursuing CPA designation and planning to obtain CPA licensure.
• Strong computer, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Receive training on federal and state tax preparation, tax research, and HBK software.
• Attend a week-long 1040 Tax Training Program.
• Contribute high-quality work and support across teams.
• Assist with preparing tax returns (individual and corporate).
• Learn how public accounting firms operate and grow professionally.
• Develop communication, analytical, and professional skills.
